Mady and Jack behind the bar were very receptive to my order request and were efficient. Jack construed a specialty cocktail that will be competing across Canada, in Vancouver. The drink is called smoked orchard and was 10/10 would recommend to any friend!

Today was my husband and mine’s first time at LOCAL and we will most definitely be back! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we have only great things to say! Host took the time to talk about the menu, waitresses was amazingly welcoming, food was on point! Refills were brought on the perfect time. The food was amazing ( I had the Peanut Noodle Satay Salad and husband had the Trophy Burger with onion rings), manager stopped by to check how things were, and we left we a feeling of one of the best restaurants we have ever been in Winnipeg. I don’t know why it took us so long to come here, but this will definitely become our go to place!
They made our valentines night 10x better than we expected!

Excellent food and service! Mady was great, helpful with the menu and turned on the NFL playoff game with sound when I asked. Food was surprisingly good. Pirogies were authentic. Burger with fried egg was delicious! Will definitely come again on my next visit to Winnipeg.

The atmosphere is amazing! Very clean, amazing decor, and play awesome music. Staff is very friendly and polite, had an absolute blast talking to the shift lead helping us. Food was delicious! I got the hot honey fried chicken, best sweet and spicy sauce I had ever had. Absolutely visit!

I must say for a Wednesday night Local Public Eatery was quite an enjoyable experience. We were greeted upon entry and sat at the bar. The bartender was very polite and friendly. My partner and I started off with the Cheese Perogies as an appetizer, and ordered their Caesar Salad and Fish Tacos as well as a couple drinks. I must say it was delicious and not too greasy, topped with herbs and bacon bits. The salad was refreshing and the tacos cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients for the salsa. The atmosphere was enjoyable and it wasn’t too busy so our food came out in a timely manner. We will definitely come back again!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, this beautiful pub offers a truly welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, adding to the enjoyment of an already great meal. I was particularly impressed by their diverse range of microbrewery – a true treat for any beer enthusiast. The spicy chicken burger was a standout, packing a flavorful punch, and paired perfectly with their delightful local beer. While the onion rings were good, they didn't quite reach 'best-ever' status. Nevertheless, the fantastic service, excellent food, and superb beer selection mean I'll definitely be returning on my next visit to Winnipeg."
